Under engine, at an economical 1800 rpm and c.7 knots, it is almost silent in the cockpit. Open the throttle for a top speed of c.9 knots, and there’s only slightly more noise. The yacht has a range of 800-1000 nm under power.
The cavernous engine room can be easily accessed from above through the saloon floor or from the side through the aft heads so you have hassle-free access to all user-serviceable parts. I changed the belt, engine oil and filters in under an hour!
